Review: I honestly don't think we could have had a worst start to our SEN journey. Years of fit the system and so the teacher didn't have to make any accommodations for them. I then realised we needed SEN support, I went to the SENCO. Referrals were not made in a timely manner, and only done because I chased. Supporting information not provided which almost resulted in us not getting a GP referral. My child is being punished and kept in during lunch because they're unable to grasp math topics.

Despite my efforts, they have made no effort to change the way my child is taught. They continue to use the methods that have failed over the last 2 years and punish then for not being able to learn.

Teachers are either not adequately trained to identify and support SEN, or they just ignore and take no action. SEN children are let down every single day at this school. Children with anxiety and SEN are ripped off their parents every day so the school can just get them in. This is all overseen by the 'experts' that are paid to help and protect our children. They don't even know the basics. They will actually turn their backs to you or disappear when they see your coming because they can't be bothered, and don't want to speak to 'that mum'.

Teachers use bullying tactics on children aged 4 and will isolate those that need additional emotional and learning support. I've witnessed a child so distressed that they have been locked in a room. The staff here would be more suited to working in prison.

Any complaints will not be taken seriously. The Senior Leadership Team are in a clique, including the SENCO and will all protect each other. There's an undisclosed extra marital relationship between 2 senior leadership team members who work together to make complaints impossible.

Please do not send your child here regardless of need or ability. Report Content
