About Us

Senvisible was set up by a married couple with Two Neurodiverse Children. Their experiences of navigating the school and local authority systems inspired them to set up a space for SEN parents, to learn from one another and ultimately help one another in securing the best outcomes possible for their young people.

We all want the best for our children and when a child has special needs we can face real obstacles working out what support our child should have and how to get it. Senvisible makes it easier for parents/carers to make choices about schools and also Local Authority processes by connecting the experiences of other parents/carers. This is information you cannot find anywhere else, searchable, honest, reviews from other SEN parents, carers and young people on the accessibility, inclusivity and support received from Schools, Local Authorities and everyday venues.

Our social mission is about bringing these experience out from the margins, validating those experiences, normalising the sharing of this information, through a supportive community where we equip one another with the most powerful tool for a SEN parent trying to navigate the SEN system – Knowledge.

With real SEN reviews and information on schools being so hard to find, SENvisible is making the world more accessible one review at a time by breaking down the barriers of exclusion through the help of other people in the same situation.
