Took over a year to finalise EHCP. When it was done it was done without a school in section I. Yes it was a complicated case but we had to complain, start tribunal process and get a solicitor to secure a school place. The fact is it only ever had one outcome due to my sons needs so why waste everyones time and money playing cruel games with desperate parents?
I would warn everyone to watch this LA very very carefully. Check they are following the legal process, check everything with a neutral
3rd party. Check the wording hasn’t been changed from the draft. Don’t let them underplay needs to save money.
