Reassessment of need took 12 months with me (parent) chasing timescales constantly. The whole process was diabolical and stressful. Case workers kept changing, no one answers emails. The new sen hub was useless as they are just gatekeepers that take a message and pass on, then nothing happens. The whole of kcc sen department is a joke. My child has been under kcc ehcp for 8 years and it’s 100 times worse now then it has ever been. They have caused so much stress and constantly don’t meet timescales. Kcc also change the law to match their unlawful policies.
