Terrible Please rate the communications your received from the local authority in timeliness and quality of information? Terrible Overall Rating: 1 Review: The entire process was abysmal. We had numerous case workers throughout the process and had numerous (20+ emails) unresponded to. Despite clear reservations and problems with specific settings for both legal reasons and for specific personal reasons, LA took parental choice away and chose setting regardless of feelings and did not consider mental strain on the parent. LA offered zero support once EHCP was finalised and just told me to go to tribunal if I didn’t like it. My child should have started school one year prior to actually receiving a placement but have not heard from case worker since. I have needed to make my own contact with professionals and have had no support from the LA not had any check ins. No clarity on the process, the department doesn’t seem to know what they’re doing either and staff turnover is evidently atrocious. I strongly considered moving boroughs to give my child a better chance at education due to the lack of consistency and support received from Wokingham Borough Council.
