Poor Please rate the communications your received from the local authority in timeliness and quality of information? Terrible Overall Rating: 1 Review: Coventry city council have been terrible. Infact that word doesn't even come close. We had no issues in obtaining the EHCP however all of our problems have followed since. The placement that was named on the EHCP has been awful and really failed my son and the LA have done nothing to help and support. I am constantly calling the council requesting a call back from our plan co ordinator however it is now 2 months maybe more since she actually called me back as requested. I have emailed two of her bosses from within the council and am still yet to hear back from them also. My son is now signed off school medically unfit to attend and even though I have mentioned this in emails to the head of SEN for coventry city council we have still had zero support and at no point have we had any offer of alternative provision. My son hasn't attended school since Christmas and was on a reduced time table for a very long time prior to this. It's just not good enough. I know of a lot of parents having similar issues that they just cannot get through to anyone at the council. Report Content
